Where can I get some from? Or has someone on here got any laying about they wouldn't mind sending me? I miss having a little bit of bass but I took the sub out as it ws just flying around in the boot all the time through corners :lol:

Do it all sell some heavy duty velcro or try your local ICE shop. I'm sure Dalco will have some as well.

Chris - get down to Woolworths mate & you can buy a small roll of Sellotape Velcro.

It comes in 2 halves that you attach one half to the said item (Sub in this case) & the other (Floor), but you'll only need one half as the velcro takes to the carpet anyways :wink:

On my last car I mad a false floor out of approx 8mm MDF in the shape of the boot floor, and covered it in matching acoustic carpet. I had a rectangular cut out section in one corner at the back where the sub box would sit. The floor held the sub box in place, sitting in the recess pushed up against the back seats.

Easy to do, just a bit more time consuming than velcro - But it means the sub box will not move at all.
