  • Yeah I see what you're saying. Long term the CTR will probably save mones. Polo was just a thought, no statu there, apart from green bees.

I like the Passat, though, don't they tend to die, and need water pump / pulleys / belts every second wednesday of the month?

    cheers
    OHAI.

    Appreciate the reply mate.

I do like the 5 series to be honest. Is this going be even more costly though?

I've just read up about the fanny flaps, doesn't sound too good if it actually fails, pistons and all manner sounds ridiculus repairs.!

    Avoid?

I basically think I shouldn't own the CTR, 15000 miles a year, I need better economy / running costs. What would you suggest?

    cheers for your time.
    Hi mate,

If you had 5k to get a diesel, bmw, what would it be? And do they break often?

    :asw:

I have a need. A need for marching powder.

RIP Alexander McQueen. Poor former gayer.

Haha drug dealers, well when she buys I will keep my eye out for some bottswanian home grown for you
So it's traders that are the best places to go by the sound of it, we are friends with a local BMW dealer (where she got the compact from) but his prices have now turned astronomical and I wondered about the private market.
Thanks for the advice dude, much appreciated. And I will check out that website cheers
    Hi Rossy

Need your advice fella, as you are the in-house car expert and gave me some good pointers on zim zimmers, could I rack your brains again please?
My mum recently wrote off a BMW compact, brilliant car, no problems, hassle or anything. It just wasn't cut out for underwater driving. My mum is now lumbered with a Xsara Picasso which I drove for a while when my car died, so she's now after another car. She is looking at purchasing an X5. Is there any common faults with them that you know of and also how much a decent mileage, good condition model goes for. I spotted a few for sale not so long ago and the better ones seemed to be around the 11k + mark but they had very high miles.
    Could you help please?

    Thanks mate
