Fitted harnesses to my DC5. Kept them for about two weeks. I'm not sure about the safety facts but they're a PITA at junctions. You don't realise how much you need freedom of movement in day to day driving until you're pinned into your seat.

Thats probably about right for a book price I'd say. Can do a lot about it I doubt.

Can it have more aero fitted?

Saw my first FK8. Was going the opposite way on dual carriage way. Didn't look as mental as I thought it would.

Hard to tell without seeing the lane set up. But from that angle of collision, it would be hard for you to hit the rear of her without her being in the wrong lane. Not what you wanner hear but... A good reason for a dash cam though mate.

I used to spray mine with engine cleaning. Agitate with a brush and rinse (gently) whilst being careful of electrics. The key is keeping on top of it so it never gets too bad. Just combine it into your normal wash routine.

Please don't take offence... My mate called me once with same issue with his day old DC5. He didn't know you have to depress the clutch...

I'm from Devon. Looked into before and in the end decided it's worth the trip to reputable tuner. Eurospec is closest. Will be a good drive home.

You want to set it to DC. If it doesn't say that it'll look like this... Some will allow you set a voltage range. Obviously you want the one that'll read 12v. Put the red probe into where you've removed the fuse, then the black probe onto the car body somewhere. A bolt is usually a good one...

I'll have to double check. I used this in my missus' car and I think it's for small fuses.

Anything that's operated by the ignition. Ideally you want a multi meter or tester to find one. Get the kit with one of these. Makes it alot easier.

I ride MTB's. I know what you're saying, but it's bit of a different ball game. It's not just about putting your foot down in the wet. Don't forget your tyres are whats going to stop you smashing into the cnut that's just pulled out in front of you. Likewise with MTB tyres. You can get really...

If you can find a good one I would go for B18C. A K series would no doubt be quicker, but a B Series in a little light weight EG would be brilliant to drive. I still say now to people my EK9 was the funnest car ive owned.

That's bad. My missus' 3 year old Tourer looks better than that when we got it from Honda.

On the B Pillar? If there's not screws most bits of Honda trim and held with clips, so it'll pull off. The clips can break sometimes though.

Make a list of pros and cons of both. If you don't really have any for either then save some money and get a FK2.

Check is if the battery is getting any charge. Do you have/can you get a voltmeter? With the engine running the battery should read about 14v.

Also be vigilant if you think someone is following you back to your house to see where the car is parked over night. I was always a little paranoid of this and have driven past my house a few times waiting for the car behind to turn off.

Too much tech now. Doesn't take long to crack the latest security. As been said, keeping them out your house and away from your family is more important. Can't imagine how it would feel to have your car stolen though.

Pull it all the way out and give it a good clean with soapy water. Leave it fully extended to dry out properly. I have heard of spraying it with polish too.

Bizarre. I'm not a fan of the FK8, but for some reason I like that.

Might be too obvious, but I had this on my DC5 and it was actually a snapped spring.

I don't know how they've done it but it looks even more mental than the FK2 when side by side. Can't imagine what the next one will look like?!

Driven my mates Golf R a few times. One thing I do know is I'll never buy a performance car with DSG or the alike. Yes, it's very quick. But I just didn't find it fun not having a clutch and manual gearbox.

Needs to be viewed. My mate has had his nearly from new and is same year and miles. On paper it sounds good but his has been neglected. Low mileage isn't always great as his was parked up for a couple of years being battered by the weather.

Disconnect the existing rears and use the 6x9's instead.

Still no for me. I'd rather an EK9 over this any day.

What Tom said. Personally I think EP3's have more than enough power for the road. Make it handle and brake better first. It'll be more fun. A mate of mine has a stock EP3 and when he drove mine with a FRSU he couldn't belive the difference.

DC5 looks very understated and small when next to the FK2.

You'll get a nice Premier for that budget.

I done this back when I had a celica. As mentioned I put a piece of mesh over it and never had any issues.

As mentioned. Definitely worth the extra money to have one. I went from having a LSD in a DC5 to an EP3 without. The way it pulls you through and out the corners is a big difference.

On my van I can open windows with the remote by holding down lock button. Didn't sit or lean on your keys whilst at home?

I never drive quick with passengers. Partly because I don't like being a passenger when I don't trust someone's driving, but also the thought of having to live with the guilt of a death.

Lovely. I'd recommend the koni rears. Very easy to fit too as springs are separate.

If you can get some DC5 rails they'll go in. Just need a spacer on one of the corners (rear inside iirc) of each rail to fit them.
