Thanks for replying. There is slight movement with inner rods is this normal. I also get a heavy rack at times was thinking maybe to get another rack and take it from there. Or upgrade the rods and ends to meyle does this sound as if it will help? Thanks

Anyone ?? Also I was thinking to get the car under sealed again and to remove the rear arch liner fabrics. Can I wash these in the washing machine and fit them back at some point once the wax has cured or shall I just get rid of them?

Thanks for getting back I do get a noise on start up it's not a loud noise but it does seem like a noise coming from the side of the cam top. The mechanic said it may be tensioner was wondering if you had anything like this similar before changing chain cheers.

Hi mate I was wondering did this job include changing the guides as well or were those ok as my specialist has advised me to change them with chain and tensioner and then getting the valve clearances done for 440 all in.

If its the wheel area then get both bottom pulleys inspected the under drive crank pulley and water pump. You will need someone to take the belt of and spin the pulleys to check for wear. One bottom pulley on mine is wearing as I can hear the whine noise between 2-2.5rpm.

Sorry my bad if its from passenger side and you push clutch down and it goes then its bearing. Drivers side will be hard to tell any ideas where bouts is it near one of the pulleys??? Only other thing i can say is get valves adjusted and see what happens.

This has now been sorted the cooling fan fuse was blown and now when heater blower is on full on coldest air con option both fans are working thanks for the help crowds.

Thanks my aircon fan runs when air con is off and the other fan I have never seen that work might have to check wiring or fuse unless its not recently been like this. Will the car be ok to drive or can it over heat?

Check oil first thing in the morning cold. Wipe off put dip stick back in few seconds then repeat again and then you should come to an accurate reading from cold. As long as you get a good reading between 2-3 wipes on cold I wouldn't worry to much I have done this 2 years of owning my ep3 and...

Isn't it best to check oil first thing in morning on cold engine??? I give my dip stick few wipes and oil is on max. Or is it better to let oil go round engine and then check after few minutes when cool... I think you will struggle to get reading after warm and then cooled down better to check...

I will get the inside rubber checked but that has nothing to do with that slight judder. Thats probably the drivers side engine mount. Is a slight jurk and judder characteristic of the clutch due to light flywheel?
