When you say "extra guidance" is the gear lever/linkage loose or sloppy so not quite as positive as it should be or does it "snick" i.e crunch between gears ?

I'm curious about the bottom end re-build, if a K20 starts to knock (i.e. big ends) it'll need a new crankshaft, as they have a coating on the journals that if reground is removed. So was a new crank shaft fitted ? IIRC they cost £800-900

Pinch the vacuum feeding the servo completely, it comes from the inlet manifold , SO THEN YOU'LL BE DRIVING WITH NO SERVO ASSISTANCE, Then drive again to see if the same problem occurs, BUT REMEMBER THE BRAKES WILL BE VERY MUCH REDUCED IN STOPPING SO BE VERY CAREFUL!

I would suspect the servo, a faulty diaphragm or air valve diaphragm ? You may as well do both together and are one unit in the car.

Just remove them completely , they're only sound deadening, oh and rust traps !

Maybe try changing the gearbox oil first, it's a cheaper option - but I agree with Chris its probably the clutch but worth a try...

MTF3 is fine - TGM when they fitted mine 27,000 miles ago !

Have you checked/changed/upgraded the throttle position sensor (TPS) ? It will eventually wear out the carbon tracks...

Renault Megane Brembo's are a good upgrade and usually cheap option, Who's the shipping line - Wallenius Wilhelmsen or Eukor?

I think consider the cost, there are many K20 engines around available with a history, most at a price less than it'll cost you to rebuild your engine, your engine will need to be completely stripped, crank regrind, new main & big end bearings, water pump etc, if the cam chain, guides...

I've got similar set-up but with a decat running 240 ish, you might need an MFactory diff and the "difference" :D is night and day

The tie rods (AKA track rods & track rod ends) don't affect or adjust the camber, although the toe in/out (Steering geometry) will need to be reset if you do indeed apply negative camber to the front of your EP3. To give negative camber you'll need these...

Hi, my facelift EP3 has a really strange fault, Firstly the drivers window doesn't auto open or close and.... it is live or works 24/7 with or without the keys in? Swapped the whole driver side switch assembly, but still the same? Any ideas? Ps I've tried reprogramming, but to no avail.

Is the suspension completely OEM ?

I had TGM fit a MFactory LSD about three years ago, running 240 with Kpro never looked back. The difference is like night and day....

I'm 99% sure, they are the same as EP3 calipers.

They'll fit, but you'll need S2000 disc's and decent new pads....

Once you've checked the clutch reservoir and or bleed the clutch, if its still stuck (won't disengage) put it in 4th gear, sit in the car with the clutch depressed and get some mates to push the car backwards and forwards, this should free the clutch...

Hi, bought one from Euro's 4 years ago, still going strong.... PS...The P0138 code is set when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that the rear O2 sensor signal voltage remains excessively high for an extended period of time.

I'd steer clear, it could turn into a money pit - there are nice ones around with little or no rust....

The additional kerbs added at Bobbies & the Esses are fine, you've still got painted kerb to use, the additions are sausages at 90 degrees pointing in...

Check the connector on the lambda loom, it may have come apart a little? Otherwise it maybe you've touched/disturbed sensor and it's now gone faulty, you could remove it and test it, if you know how to use a multi-meter & a heat source , see the attached YouTube video...

The wheel studs are a "push" fit in to the hub, the above method will not work. The old stud needs to be knocked out, remove the disc & caliper first, using a large hammer knock it out , using an equally large hammer behind the hub to stop it damaging the hub bearing... To fit new one, push it...

Yes, it can be used to operate a relay, make sure the relay live feed to the airhorns compressor has an inline fuse from the battery, if you're coming straight off the live terminal on the battery... :D

Sounds like the tappets has been set wrong or not set at all, I guess they did re-adjust them after fitting new cams...

Hi, getting on with the shell swap and now on to the gear linkage which has Tegiwa bushes on both ends (gearbox & lever), whilst removing the said bushing in the car, I notice that the polythene ball and socket are slack and worn (120K) , the only fix is to buy a new one from Honda a new OEM...

Trailing arms & rear wheel hubs, old OEM bushes of 15 yrs removed and new bushes fitted, all I need to is fit it all back in the car. Also the roll cage mounts are now welded in and it can be installed... Removed the rust and painted the trailing arms, don't look too close its not a concourse...

If the EP3 been maintained correctly (oil/filter etc) and "looked after" the cam chain can last 120-150 k miles, mines done 117 and it's fine ...

An old trick IIRC is to reverse the in/out hoses, can't do any harm :rolleyes:I don't know if ever worked though :lol:
