Are you running the factory conti’s. I switched to Goodyear tyres last year and I haven’t had the problem since. I think its caused by the amount of stones the sticky conti’s pick up.

Type R did better on this review

That makes sense as I have the earlier model and it definitely doesn’t feel as bumpy as it was for mr Plato In +R. I tend run normally in comfort and sport if I want a bit of fun on public roads. I save +R for track days.

I watched this earlier. I’m positive on the first two runs that Matts so called racing driver in the FK8 hit the Rev limiter in 2nd. The golf was always going to win but not by the margin it did. The guy can’t drive a manual for toffee.

Thanks for the replys. It does seem worse if it’s sat a few days. Oil light always goes out immediately. If I run it every day it doesn’t seem to do it. Weird.

I’ve noticed dirt that you can’t remove thats visible around the edges that’s annoying but mine aren’t leaking yet. There must be better aftermarket ones.

apparently the face lift comes with something called LogR, an onboard data-logging app that displays and tracks vital vehicle information. I believe LogR can be accessed either through the car's infotainment screen or an iPhone/Android app. I had something similar on my old VXR.

Make sure you ceramic coat the wheels. Wish I’d done mine.

I use a faraday bag. Works a treat but remember to get a bag for your spare key as well. Read a story last year where the main key was in a bag but they were able to detect the spare key and then take the car.

Just an update on the Windscreen. It was all covered under the 3 year warranty and was replaced yesterday. Picked the car up this morning. Really pleased with my local dealer and the Honda Warranty.

Did the car come with the moulded polystyrene part that holds the mouse and compressor as this fills the spare wheel well and provides support for the centre of the boot floor. Without it you might find the floor will sag in the middle

Well I didn’t get a no from the dealership today. They are going to take photos next week when it’s in for the fuel pump recall and send them off to Honda.

I’ve looked through my service book and it states that chips, cracks and scratches arnt covered unless confirmed to be a manufacturing defect. I’ll phone the dealership tomorrow to get them to have a look at it when it’s in for the fuel pump recall

I went out and washed the car this morning. I’ve noticed my windscreen is delaminating on both of the top corners so the black looks milky white. Would this be covered under warranty as the car is less than two years old. I’m not feeling the love for autoglass replacing it:evil: Cheers Dave

I haven't found a tyre fitter in our area that will touch a tyre that has had mousse in it.

Well I’ve used it once so far and the tyre could be repaired saving me £225 as I didn’t use the mousse. One more puncture and it’s pretty well paid for itself

With previous marques a re-gas has always been charged for as it's classed as maintenance however a leak due to a failed component has been warranty.
