You’re right. I predicted they will be a 45k or even less used car by Xmas. Honda played a blinder on their initial release but the market has definitely slowed on them , I would struggle to lay out 50g on a Type R in all honesty and I’ve had them all. £40-45k seems a more reasonable price.

I had one when they first came out and had another two after that .. if you pay £47k for one you’d soon come to regret that once the honeymoon period is over. From what I’ve seen no one is buying the boost blue ones at the massively inflated prices the stealers are trying to command for them...

Every time I see one of these boost blues with this kinda price tag I am tempted to email the dealer thanking them for their comedy. Does anyone actually pay £47k for an FK8??? It definitely does not warrant anywhere near that cost.

Whilst the infotainment is a shocker .. I just used to use CarPlay to get around that issue ..

Are you confusing a pre delivery inspection with a 1200 mile run in service (which was occurring in the e46 m3 days). Don’t think many owner would agree to taking delivery of their m cars until it’s 1200 mile run in service was completed.

About 4 miles. All ‘M’ cars need a run in service at 1200 miles.

Nice one E46M3’s are only going upwards in value (for good ones) I know what you mean about the SMG, it’s not as a patch on the DCT’s they put in new M cars. Many people do a conversion if they are fortunate enough to own a CSL.

No it’s more like vtecyo. The n55 was Spikey .. this seems more progressive. Though I can not exceed 5k rpm at the moment until the run in service is carried out.

It’s more than double the price of an EP3 when they were new (I know there’s inflation etc but still aimed at the same market) I’d not be paying over 36k for an FK8.
