Hi I'm new to forums, looking for some advice, I have a civic type r 2004, had new clutch an timing chain fitted 3 months ago it using lots of oil since I had it back an plug 4 went within 2 weeks, took it back to the garage put new plugs in said he checked it over had it back week later still burning oil an plug 4 an 2 have gone, I have left it in my garage with new plugs to put in but don't see the point ifs going to do the same any advice appreciated.

I would take it back to whoever changed the timing chain and get them to check it again,

Seems its been happening since that, they may have retarded the timing too much.

Maybe try a different garage for a second opinion.

Any mods on the car?

Next I would look at a compression test and go from there.
