Hey! New member alert....
My EP3 seems to not like having less than half a tank of fuel. When it does have less than half a tank, the engine will sort of "cough" like its not getting adequate fuel to the engine. This can happen going round roundabouts as well, presumably because the fuel is tilting in the tank
When I say "cough", it feels like when you've put the car in the wrong gear and you aren't going fast enough. Think the feeling of 4th gear and you're going 10mph
Couple more issues:
- This may be a coincidence but on hot days, when I turn the key to start it fires up and dies immediately and takes a couple of tries before it stays on
- Last week I was driving about 10mph and it started coughing and spluttering like I was in the wrong gear and it just cut out. It took a few key turns to get it back on
I cant help but think this is fuel system related, like the engine isn't getting adequate fuel or fuel pressure and its just cutting out
Any advice on what this might be? Is this a common issue that's easily fixable??
