Isnt the rain great....
I never thought I would hear myself say that, but today the rain prooved what a great 'leveller' it can be in motosport.
Ill start with my results from the sprint at Curborough today as Im very proud of them
1st In class 2
1st in Championship Class
Fastest Lady Driver
5th Overall out of 58
I beat most of the single seaters, kit cars, got beaten to 4th place by a 480bhp Skyline by .1 of a second
God...I loved the rain today   Couldnt believe my luck on both runs. The first 3 cars went and each time the track was dry but it was spotting with rain BUT when I got on the startline the heavens opened The car who got fastest time of the day was the luckiest bugger alive His first run was on a dry track, in practice I had matched his times, but ho hum thats racing His time in his standard Porsche was 37.4 and the nearest to that was 37.81-a single seater on a drying , no rain track.
Roll on tomorrow and please NO RAIN OVER ALDERSHOT
