Breakdown / Fault code ( P1362) TDC Sensor No Pulse/ Car alarm wont turn off

Hi all , new here , hope someone can shed any light would be appreciated ❤️
Broke down in my honda civic type r 2005 ..
Car just completely cut out on a bend , engine management light on , maybe all dash lights on can't remember, and was just free rolling to a stop .
Called recovery who attempted to get it started to no avail , towed me to a car park to proceed more diagnostics with the laptop for codes ... Used 2 code readers and none has my year of car so got recovered to my house.
Locked the car with the fob.
Later that night I could hear my car alarm faintly as the battery was low low ... Went out to turn it off and couldn't turn it off so I disconnected the battery and called my mechanic the following day ...
He some how managed to read the system on his machine either by pulling the alarm fuse or something else I wasn't there at the time ...
Fault code P1362 TDC Sensor no pulse .... No other faults.... Left it for a day , to figure out what sensor to get ( got the wrong one obviously lol)
But now every time he tries to read the codes and we connect the battery the alarms going off as in anti theft mode and he now can't read the system for codes ....
So sorry this is long winded !!!!
Tried a few Google resets etc , both keys have brand new batteries but can't cut the alarm off without disconnecting the battery ...
Feel like I've got a camshaft sensor problem but can't do anything until the alarm / problem is fixed first ... All doors etc function with the fob fine with the alarm obviously going off ...
Now my question ❓
Have I got a Camshaft sensor problem , or an alarm / immobilizer issue ......or both .....lol ...

Any Help or info Much Much Appreciated
