I've recently changed my front discs and pads which I was fairly confident of doing, however, I now need to do the rears and cautious of the handbrake mechanism.
Do I just wind the piston back, install the new discs and pads and the handbrake adjusts itself? Will I need to unhook the cable on the back of the caliper in order to do the job and does that throw up any potential issues.
I had a Gen7 Celica before the FN2 which had handbrake shoes inside the rear disc "drum" so you could just remove the disc with the handbrake disengaged but it was also a ballache to calibrate.
Cheers
