Coilover concerns

Hello,

Bought an EP3 2002 with mods installed.

One mod is the BC-racing coilovers, and I would like to readjust them because they have bottomed-out on me a few times :( Once the C spanners arrive, the heights can change, however, I don't know what heights to set them to?? Any insight into this? I'd been in contact with BC-racing and the guy says to lower them by 40mm on all corners.. 40mm from OEM but I don't know how the heights are set on the standard spring?

I've read about the FRSU and would like to opt to it, haven't been underneath the car yet to check whether it has rear camber kit but atm have a slight negative camber..

Once I sought out the suspension heights, I'll take it to the garage for tracking etc etc and give them the specs for FRSU ((1 degree neg camber all corners, 2mm toe (in) at rear & 1mm toe (out) at front))

Sound good?

Coilovers transformed my EP3 when I put them on. I have the Eibach pro S kit and lowered mine by about 45mm however I have since raised it a smidge, partly due to bottoming out issues at the rear, but also to protect the front from speedbumps etc. I dont need C spanners to adjust mine, I can turn them by hand once I have undone the locking screw, you may be able to do so yourself. Your FRSU suggestion Is the same as what I have, and it corners brilliantly now, as for the OEM drop, I cant remember Im afraid! I did write them down before modding mine, and will see If I can dig them out for you! Enjoy the 'R'!

Yes, I thought to do it without the spanners but tech guy from BC-racing said to use C spanners. They're only a 10 for a pair. Can't wait to go with the FRSU because I hear most type-r owners use it and it's all positives :)
Excellent, cheers hope you can find them, I'll appreciate it because can't seem to find the spec for them. A friend of mine has a type-r, can't I just go underneath and measure it??? Will do, the 'R' is an exciting car. All the best.
