Cracked Wing Mirror Cover

Guys please help!! Someone just smashed into my wing mirror on a narrow road and the plastic cover is cracked across the bottom, not happy to say the least. The guy was going at some speed to and it was my right of way, but hey ho its done now.

Where can i get another one peeps and how much will it cost me? I realise i need to check local junk yards and stuff but if i can find the cover cheap online i would rather do that. It is the drivers side of a 2002 EP3 NHB.

Please help a very unhappy Type R lover. Thanks :(
 
Unlucky bud. A snowplough took my mirror off a couple months ago, found one on ebay for a tenner. Have a look for cars being broken on ebay/gumtree.
 
Ive seen one on ebay for 25 quid so far with 9.99 postage. If i can find one for a tenner then ill be chuffed!! Shame about the snow plough, that must have scared the crap outta you!
 
Yep, bloody snowplough! I pulled over to let him by, he just kept on trucking, must have passed 3in from me at about 30 spraying snow and grit all over me. Cretin never even stopped, I didn't get his plate because I was too busy sh***ing myself.
Just keep hunting around, it's amazing how much you can save with a bit of time and effort. This is the sort of thing I got mine from:

God I hope I dont have to do as much work as you did Lottie, what a mission for a wing mirror replacement!
 
I wish I'd seen that tutorial before I replaced mine! Very clear instructions and pictures Lottie. Mine only took about an hour, and much of that was exploring. I guess I was lucky in not breaking any clips, probably a good thing to have a few spares standing by just in case.

Its not too bad really, just the cost of the mirror is what I was annoyed at, as like you it wasn't my fault and I still had to pay out to get it fixed.
 
Well ive ordered a whole setup from a brokers and it cost me 30 quid including pp. It has a small chip and ill need a touch up pen. Can I get one in nhb?
 
Good find! Aye, I found on at autosave, and I think you can still get 3 stage paint repair kits at halfrauds. Again, probably worth having a have a look online.
