more tyre ware tho

definately agree on that. any increased camber and the trade off is increased tyre wear. going through a set fronts every 4000 miles as it is now

Do you mean you are wearing the outer edges of your tyres ???

-1deg camber will not wear your tyres, more like your tyres are rolling over as you corner hard which will be giving you understeer. As you corner the tyres get pushed over so if your wheels are virtually upright then they will roll quicker onto the outer edge where you loose grip as there is less tyres contact with the road
My car currently has -2.5deg on the front and -3deg on the back...now that will give you wear on the inner edges cos the wheels are tipped over but on cornering the forces generated to roll the tyre over arent present so much so my set up gives far better cornering ability.
The race cars can have up to -5deg camber and easily can go through a set of tyres in a qualifying session and race
