Yeah, apparently - we're meant to hold it down re: Touge & J's Racing - as SumoPower have the J's official rights for the UK..

To be fair Sumo do get there J's items sharpish - perks of officialdom.
 
Yeah, sumo power have a load of J's exhaust coming in for Julyish.

Still, gonna hopefully send this back and see what happens.
 
Yeah... I agree. Regardless of the red tape - it's a J's product and there should be some sort of contingency in place - it's a brand new product FFS.
 
im half tempted to just get a titanium system from sumo once they arrive :lol:

But yeah, its a brand new product and has fcked up after a few weeks use, not acceptable in anyones books.

im going to get this sent back to J's yes. As for the titanium one, i've emailed Sumo for details of what they are getting and when.

its so any flames that occur do not burn the bodywork :)
 
the list price inc VAT on sumo's website isn't too bad. so thats another thing i've asked as im sure the price is alot more :lol:

this is just a look see at *** moment, could be financially viable, could make me bankrupt. lets see what happens. first priorty get this muffler sorted.

Anyway after all that, if anyone is still reading and interested, immediate plans for this car is/are

1 - Sort out this muffler. Either send back to J's for replacement or polish the tail pipe myself.
2 - INGS lip on order and hopefulyl here maybe august time? That will be sprayed up and fitted along with a whole front end respray.
 
no. thats a good 3 month wait at least.

It's a hard lesson to learn... I'm getting fed up aswell. The Touge dude ain't even responding these days.

James is a legend tbh, must be a seriously hard job he's doing there. I wouldn't like to do it.

The emails im receiving from Touge at the moment is from Someone called L? i think that's how they are signing there emails anyway.

If someone had the balls to open up in the UK and have a large amount of stock, ie a couple of container's full shipped over then im sure they would make a killing. it's just having the funds and bottle up front to do it.

Well that's the thing we all like James, but his company put his services in a bad light.

I know that you're not always going to find uber JDM parts in stock at most places, but some of the wait for parts is silly, over a year for an exhaust, you're tripping. All the time you've paid for it also.

I know that's what you have to do for some stuff, but IMO it's daft.
