DC5 Type R Number 3 - Another J's exhaust ordered lol wut

yeah, Hendy FTW. Parts IN STOCK and ready to go.

Now if someone sone that with a load of J's, Spoon, Feels bits etc it would be awesome.

yes paid for the nuts same time as exhaust.

James is a legend tbh, must be a seriously hard job he's doing there. I wouldn't like to do it.

The emails im receiving from Touge at the moment is from Someone called L? i think that's how they are signing there emails anyway.

If someone had the balls to open up in the UK and have a large amount of stock, ie a couple of container's full shipped over then im sure they would make a killing. it's just having the funds and bottle up front to do it.

Yeah J's a legend - but the new dudes.. I dunno the whole thing is just a bit too cold and disconnected - especially after having a good customer relationship with Touge for awhile.

I think the Touge EU set-up is about a container for UK stock-holding but for the parts that are more often purchased. Who knows.

TBH, I didn't even bug the dude - not like you spamming J's for example LOL.

I just periodically sought updates - but it's getting to the stage where I'm not receiving replies (last 3 e-mails IIRC now) - and they're all following up dates that I was told orders would be honoured etc. etc. so I'm contacting them more or less on the information they give me.

I appreciate that they're acting as middle-men agents, but even to get some information frorm FEEL's for example - well there hasn't been any in the 5-6 months... :?

Since Touge have set-up the EU side, aren't they bound by EU distance selling regulations on goods sold through the eu.touge site?

If that is the case I thought the EU regs mean that they can't charge for goods until they have been dispatched?

I'm not sure John, I haven't ordered via the EU site - I still have a couple of outstanding orders placed via the Jp site - which is subject to the usual import/export t's and c's etc.

Myself and the scottish fella booked it yesterday, kit car madness. If your not working bud give the Teg a spanking.

I just had a good read through this thread dude, all that RX7 talk made me LOL.

Any more thoughts on the matter or did Spa/Ring change your mind?

insurance changed my mind on the RX7, couldn't justify the extra expense.

The car drove really well round spa/ring. Alot better than I was expecting. HASNIC took it out and was quicker than a Clio cup race thingy so it's perfectly capable. (just me beinhd the wheel thats the handicap lol)

J - no can do, moving house that week and the misses wouldn't like me buggering off ona trackday. However, i will come over for late afternoon, be there at 4ish. See if I can get on and just pay for the evening :)

Keeping the Teg for the foreseeable future then? I'm seriously considering one again now, I should have just got one before I bought this Prem.

yeah, i keep looking about as you can get some serious cars for the money these days, but the teg is pretty good for the cost
