Gotta say I miss the sound of my DC5 with Amuse after hearing that now :(
Harv - I genuinely like the sound of the 70RR mate, the pops on the overrun are worth it alone :)
 
The 5 that sported both of the J's mufflers looks very sick.

The 70RR sounds the best - looks the ugliest.. straight through LOL.

What about the FEEL's Ti?

Sun, please when you finally get the Exhaust, don't rev it at a stand still as it sounds a bit poo (not unique to this exhaust though). Sounds awesome on full chat though.

I can remember being very impressed when this was on Murph's car at JAE '09

Lol! Yeah it does sound like a fart can at idle rev doesn't it..

To be honest, I like it most for the size and style of the tail pipe. Most exhausts sound fantastic on full chat regardless of price/brand IMO... Shamelessly, the whole FEEL's thing was also part of the reason :oops:

It's a case of if rather than when though man... :?

60RR is the pick of the two for me.

Heard one on a S2000 at full chat a while ago, wanted.

Didn't sound as good as the Mugen though :lol: .

The J's 70RR is the loudest exhaust available for the DC5/EP3 by a long shot. That video doesn't include de-cats or race headers. I'm told that when my header, de-cat, and RR arrive it'll be in the region of 125-130dB on WOT... :p
 
I don't think I will, I don't use it as a daily driver, only for pleasure, so I won't be covering enough miles for it to become tiring :) IMO anyway, time will tell once it's actually here and fitted.
 
Not the J's (T1-R RTi) but this is how i remember Ian's DC5 with the 70mm J's sounding:lol:
You may need to turn it up as it's fairly quiet.

Ian's DC5 at SRR. It was so loud the inner doors were closed. I was the only idiot without ear defenders on as I was filming it. You could 'feel' the air vibrating in your ears, that's how loud it was.
