EP3 EP3 Ground Clearance

Messages

Hello all,

I used to have an FK8 and an S2000 but I sold them both to buy an FD RX7 and a Cooper S to daily. However, I find myself missing a Honda badly haha. I would like to buy an EP3 soon to do some casual track days and b road bashing.

I am slightly concerned about the ground clearance on my driveway, specifically with the exhaust on an EP3.
The S2000 scraped in the middle of the car as it would bottom out at the top of my drive where the kerb drops away.
The S2000 had about 4 inches of ground clerance, online it says a stock EP3 has 4.9 inches but I'm not sure if that includes the low hanging exhaust.

Could anyone please help me out with a measurement between the lowerst part of the exahust and the ground on a stock height, stock exhaust EP3.

Mine is on standard height but doesn't have a stock exhaust, I can measure it for you if you like, won't be until tomorrow evening though.

Sorry it took a while lol, so mine is standard height as I said, the exhaust is a Fujitsubo Legalis R so around 2.5" diameter, the clearance to the ground with this exhaust is 4.5", hope this helps.

Excuse the surface rust lol, gotta get under it when I get time.

Thanks so much for getting back to me with a photo.
Seems the 4.9 inch ground clearance on a stock car with a stock pipe is probably correct then.
Which is good news! Means I am pretty confident that it wont scrape and I can look for one.
