Exhaust Blowing ??

I have an '02 CTR which has Tanabe SMR catback exhaust fitted to it, it has been on for about 8 months now. There were no problems for about 6 months then I developed a "blowing" noise when the engine is under load. The noise seems to come from where the manifold joins the downpipes. Strange thing is my mate has a '52 plate CTR with Spoon N1 and B pipe fitted, his has just started to make the same noise. We are considering new engine mounts. Any ideas ???
