fn2 hks rsk insurance query

Rang insurance today to get a quote for adding the HKS racing suction kit to my FN2 they want to know how much increase in bhp the car will gain with this fit?

That's what I told them and they seemed to think it would be much more than that and told me to get official figures

So something along the lines of the amount of air the engine draws before and after a Remap?

Explain that the ECU can only account for a small tolerance of change in air/fuel mixture so any significant increase in airflow will not be matched by a sufficient increase in fuel mixture and therefore the BHP increase will be minimal without a remap of the ECU to add more fuel.
