HOT Brands Hatch Indy Evening 23/08/11...

Lost the back end while chasing another dc5 down paddock, many spins followed. Ended up on the grass at the bottom looking back up the hill lol

Apart from that it was all good lol

Could have been worse a friend at work trashed his single seater there at the weekend :( Didnt want to post that before you all got back lol

I span too!
Same place.
Justin had a moment or two as well.
Same place.
Tro's nemesis, paddock hill!!

Stu when did you spin, was it the session where I waited for you and we went out together? As you were behind me, then you wasn't lol

Actually I had three moments there lol - a wobble in front of you (which funnily enough scared me the most), sideways infront of an Elise and another sideways moment preceeding Harv's reverse parking. If harv and I had video cams in that moment it would've made quite a clip.

Harv, yeah it was mate.
My Last session.
About 2 laps in.
Braked too late for Paddock Hill bend and as I turned in the back went light. Tried to put some power on to settle the rear but it just kept coming around and when i decided I wasn't gonna catch it and lifted off it just span. Ended up on the grass. Having a panic attack!

Managed to get my act together when I came back Out though and gave that exige s (or whatever it was, white one) some real harassment! He just wouldn't move out the way when I was clearly faster. He came over and told me he knew he was holding me up!!

Nick. Awesome mate. Truly awesome.
To me anyway.
Oem suspension ftw!
The brakes shocked me. I was braking far far too early at first. I can literally leave it late, stand on them and they just make speed disappear with no fade at all.

Once the tyres started to come to Life too, the grip was amazing.

Oil never went above 95deg C too so the oil cooler is working well

Only downside was some boost cut when hot (we think). Could have been dense/damp cold air though.

Happy enough though.
