HOT Brands Hatch Indy Evening 23/08/11...

Was it a bit wet where the camber changes then?

I've not driven Brands yet, want to though. I've been round as a passenger quite often with Tom in the wet, and from memory, he never seemed uneasy through Paddock hill, but had more issues with Druids and Graham Hill.

It was raining all day pretty much so very greasy and slippery.

On the contrary for me, I had Druids and Graham hill bend nailed.

Awesome. Not jealous at all.

Glad you enjoyed the evening.

Paul G discs are awesome aren't they.

I've been doing brands since 05 and I'd like to think I know my way round there pretty well. I've never been round it with as little grip as I had today. Sooooooo slippery. Druids and Graham hill are easy, in fact paddock is too normally tbh.

He did have slicks on in the wet.

For as long as I can remember it's always been pretty greasy in the wet. The LCR sidecar used to spend most of its time spinning up sideways.

It's not as normally as bad as it was last night fella, i've gone round it in hail before now and still found decent grip. First two sessions last night was ridiculous, still a dry line did appear and I was pwning soon enough lol

Echo what Harv said, I've NEVER known Brands Hatch to have as little grip as it did last night due to drizzle it was like a skid pan in places.
I even went sideways down paddock but managed to pull it back.
Deffo was an interesting night thats for sure.
Anyone got any photos ? as I saw photographic flashes going off down the back straight !

Hmmm, that IS bad. Wonder if someone previously had a little leak on it?
