Hi All. My interior light does not come on when i open the door. Is this normal for an 02 EP3?

The lights switch on when i press them.....
 
The ones on the front won't. There is one just head the front seats in the roof that can be set to come on
 
It's not very bright is it (the light not you). I was toying with finding a better bulb for the middle one.
