Just bought a new Type R (FN2) Bronze

Had my rear windows and tailgate tinted (20%) after seeing a great offer near me. Def makes the car look better!

Also had oil and filter change at TGM. Next step will be the Mugen spoiler next month!

The Mugen spoiler will transform the look of the car

The FN2 should've had one fitted from the factory IMO :p

Windows look great :smt023

Regards,Mark.

Looking good! and also very clean. Did they do anything to the lower perspex window on the back?
I quite fancy a mugen type spoiler too but the Mrs would go nuts if I bought anything else at the moment after buying the flashpro. Maybe in a few months...

Hi mate, thanks! Haah treat yourself i say! I recommend type r kits as I've heard they are the next best thing from the original mugen.

No that can't be tinted and I've left it alone as it looks fairly dark anyway and the contrast is fine between the 2.

Nearly coming upto 3 years ownership of my fn2 and been a blast and hoping for many more years of fun!

Here are some pics of the new spoiler fitted. I love the look and now hit 40k miles too. Awesome cars

Had my car down at TGM today to get gearbox bushes tightened (clunking noise from box) and the subframe click to be looked at. All good I'm happy to report!

The subframe issue revolved around a click sort of noise coming from the front suspension when i was turning right full lock and moving on.

Heard Honda may have done it as there was a bulletin a while back but didn't want the hassle of waiting and the job not being done at the end.

On a negative note i noticed a scratch covering 1/3 of the front passanger door which must have done by a Honda hater just a day ago when parked in the street when i went to work!

Have got a detailer coming to inspect it and hopefully correct the scratch which doesn't appear to be deep.

Back in January i had a new ICE system fiited. A kenwood dmx7017dab! It's absolutely brilliant with android auto compatibility and allows me to use maps and spotify.

Also got a reverse camera fitted which has been a huge assist.

The connects 2 facia adapter is a great fit and looks oem too.

Lovely clean example. Very lucky indeed. New head unit is a must in these cars now. Analogue FM and CD player is doing my head in! Definitely on my to do list too

Thank you mate. Absolutely, makes such a difference and sound quality is also improved over the stock system.
