It's less that 2k more than you got for it as trade in though isn't it? I don't find that very shocking personally.
 
Aye not more than £2k more. I'm not surprised in the slightest.

If my buying experience was anything to go by you'd get a fair bit knocked off that too.
 
I read all 135 pages of this thread on a nightshift at work, and I have to take my hat off to you Loxy.
Your car was epic.
I showed the post to my Mrs and said this is the type of thing that I want to do to my car, or buy a Porsche 911 in 5 years time.
I think she is happier with me spending a bit on my current car.
I am leaning towards improving the handling, and few small tweeks to the engine, nothing major.
I want to keep it normally aspirated. Watch this space.

Vtec is set at 3,800 rpm as per the Group N map, so that is why it kicks in low down the revs.

Did you have standard exhaust on this set up Loxy? I saw Tegiwa Exhaust Manifold but not the exhaust?

Did you have problems with sound restrictions at tracks?
 
I had a phase 1 Magnex exhaust. Very similar to the silenced Cobra. No issues at all with track days. I can't remember the exact figures though, but I've got mid 90s in my head.
