ive just came back for a play in my ep3 and i cooked my brakes to the extent that they were realy not workin ive only jut bought it abd its all still standard i was wondering if any one could givre me any advice in what to do ablot my rubbish standerd brakes issue thanks

the discs look pritty good and when driving normaly the brakes are spot on its just after a bit of heavy braking they get realy bad realy quick

i think i have glased the pads it stunk when i got it back it seems to me the person who owned it befor me didnt get good pads but im lookin in to up grading the brakes anyway and the fluid was changed when i bought it it look prity golden colour

Are they even OEM pads/discs? OEM are pretty good for fast road use.....

what ever are on it they ary no good for fast road use because it honestly felt like i lost all braking quite scary at one point

Get DS2500 or Mintex 1144 pads and some braided line, will much improve it.

ive just priced up some EBC Turbogroove Discs front and rear, redstuff pads front and rear and some goodridge hoses for £540 is that good?

I personally wouldn't run redstuff.

Call TGM on Monday for a quote mate. 01252 811972. They have DS2500 pads in stock, and if you want discs they have loads of options. Mention the forum and you'll get some discount.

Redstuff pads are good initially but in my experience, loose their bite pretty quickly. As said above get the Mintex or Ferodo. For fast road pads, they really can't be bettered.

it seems alot of people say about these DS2500 ill call that number on monday and see what they have in stock. where are they based?

I've had the stoptech big brake kit, and they are eye-coming-out-of-socket good. Standard rear calipers.
