Normal headlight help. . . upgrade

It will take H1 for the dipped beam and HB3 bulbs for the main beam. The HB3 has a plastic 90 degree right angle to the connector on it.

I used uprated Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in mine for over a year and was very pleased with them. Still not as good as HIDs but were a good middle step between them and standard bulbs. TBH though you are better off going for HIDs in the long run as the trade off with uprated bulbs is a shorter life.

Id just go for the hids i put them on mine they made a world of difference and wernt that expensive either

yer that one would do if your cars a facelift?

it should be ok quality my kit was £80 and its been ok so far.

Yer thats all i got anyway. Its quite arkward to put a bulb in the drivers side but other than that its straight forward.

You could also try a company called car mods shop (google them and it takes you to their site). It is the company who supply hidsforus and were very helpful when i had a problem with mine (i had a blub blow the moment i put them in) and actually delt with the returns for me.

As said you will need a bulb holder for each bulb and then it is just a case of feed the wiring in and mount the ballast boxes. Took me about 20 mins to do it all. I actually found fitting them in easier than changing the halogen bulbs space wise.

Hope it is easy as it sounds... where do I mount the ballast boxes?? don't want to drill any holes... Also I'm what are your views of this shop http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-conversion-kits-50w/honda-hid-kits/50w-honda-civic-kit-p-285.html this kit sounds promising comes with 2 Bulb holders, 2 hid bulbs, 2 ballasts (integrated igniter, E24 mark Approval), 2 ballast holders, Installation guide and required wiring accessories
:D are the bulb holders from HIDs4u suitable/fit any HID kit or does it only fit with their Ultimate kit?

Forgot to add also if I buy this kit http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-conversion-kits-50w/honda-hid-kits/50w-honda-civic-kit-p-285.html and any other HID Kit is it plug and play as I don't want to do any soildering, cutting etc etc

Their bulb holders fit any kit i think as i didnt get my kit from them and they fit
i think they are all plugin and play.
My kit came with sticky pads so i stuck the ballasts to the strut tops seemed a good place
