Hello getting P2646 message on FN2 2009 when VTEC kicks in...car goes into limp mode. If clear message then just reoccurs when hit revs for Vtec.
Googling suggested Vtec solenoid so replaced that and all was fine. Did track day following week....no issues whatsoever. So thought that was it and all sorted. Didn't use for 3 weeks then went to do another track day and issue returned on sighting lap so was end of day just after 9am .
Don't get how it can all be fine after replacing solenoid and was fine on track day but then comes back again on next one. . Also got "check oil level" driving home...but oil level fine...
So think must be sensor at fault or something ? Anyone got any ideas ?

Hi, oil light is rarely related to the level itself, but the actual oil pressure.

Oil level is all fine.
It's intermittent fault ..
Next step is to look at wiring ...
