Pre-facelift to Facelift Headlight Conversion

from what i remember, i only went to honda for the indicator bulb holders and that was it
I got indicators side lights and something else I cant even mind, something that someone else told me I definitely would of needed. Cost me bang on 60 but I guess if I don't use stuff can always take back.

Do you know if I'll need the h1 plugs if am putting the xenon conversion in? I don't have a clue.

Also I was just thinking do I need indicator plugs and sidelight plugs or are they all the same?

I'll tell you what I have...

fuse and fuse holder
relay
wire
the holders
hb3 plugs
xenon conversion

Is that me ready to rock? I am getting someone to do it for me so just so I've got it all there for him just double checking sorry.

cheers

you will also need the indicator plugs, i cant remember about the hid kit, as i added mine after regular hb3 bulbs, but that should do you :D

Anyone got any ideas where to find the indicator plugs ? looks like I'll need to try the scrapies now lol

Lol the indicator plugs were a massive ballache, i only found 1 in the rear passenger side of a 97 corsa, then found the other in another corsa, good luck

hi there im new to this site i got a ep3 on a 52 plate and im doing the conversion just wondering what vehicles to look on for the indicator plugs many thanks chris

I got my stuff today and HID conversion all i am missing is indicator plugs. hopfully find a pair this week.

ok guys took me around 2 hours to get my head round this but ive got everything finally on its way bar one thing ..
Ive curently got H4 HID's in my pre-facelift headlights but im wanting to use the ballasts from them in the facelift headlights do i just need to order these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xenon-HID...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item335589eaf2 Or do i need some sort of adapter for these to fit? with my current HID's being bi-xenon i take it the wiring will be the same except i get rid of the high beam earth wire?

Jack

You can get the indicator holders from honda i think i paid like £14 thats for both not each.

Think everything else is all you need.

I need some of those indicator plugs.are they the right ones though because am sure its 585 bulbs u need not 501 or does that matter because its a plug and it fits both?

Just got them fitted today. i didn't get other indicator plugs just filed a wee bit down on the pre facelift bulb holders and they fitted nice and tight in.

I'll get some pics posted up later.

I done this on my car ages ago. was murder because i havent done much stuff like this anyway i got there in the end.

Anyway helping a mate do this and follow the diagram from here i've done everything right as far as i know. but only one side works properly (driverside) the passenger side comes on but without my lights even being on but its dull like it isn't getting enough power.

Any help to why this is? as i checked everything and think its all correct but obviously not.

Cheers in advance.

Sorted i had a wee look today see what i had done gave up lastnight cause it was too dark but anyway all i had done was put the live feed in to the earth and earth in to live feed on drivers side h4 plug. swapped them and the lights worked.

Ive got loads of spare indicator holders i could'nt buy them anywhere here or get them off any honda so orderd a set from japan and a full box came they have been sitting about collecting dust so anyone doing this give me a shout and you can pay postage and i'll send them for free.

I have them mate they just look like the real deal but one of mine filled with condensation sent it back they wouldnt refund me. so cause i allready had one i got another from them but just put some silicon round it and they have been fine now. but i wish i bought proper ones to start with.
