Rattle in VTEC

Hi

Is normal to hear a slight little rattle around 7000RPM :?:
It sounds like a bracket shacking or something :?:

Im not sure as im new to the VTEC game

Just sounds like a metal rattling sound from 7000 straight the way through to the redline!
Where abouts is the 'VTEC cover' and is there anything i can do about it?

i think you can put longer bolts into the cover too stop this!

With washers, between the cover and engine.

Mine used to rattle at 7500 ish but that seems to have stopped
The engine cover resonating sound is at 4000 rpm, they have tried to fix it twice, it's better but not perfect

If the washer trick doesnt work then you will have to go to warrenty mod 2 !

Bend the brackets back a touch !

Its a big cover with VTEC written on it hence VTEC cover.
