Thinking of selling my Civic! UPDATE - anyone interested??

Folks, I'm considering parting with my CTR after 13 months of ownership. It's been a lot of fun and I really like the car, but I'm tempted to go for a BMW 330 sport convertible and think it would be a good time to change.

Can anyone give me a rough value for a private sale? It's not definite yet as I need to work out whether the numbers stack up first.

It's a 54 plate satin silver with 8,000 on the clock. Excellent condition, A/C, fogs, mats plus a few mods. I expect I will be advised to sell the mods seperately, but if someone wanted an awesome looking motor, I'd leave them on for the right price.

Mods that could potentially come off include:
18" Kei Velocity rims with Toyos (would need a swap for standard wheels)
Spoon progressive springs
Scorpion 4" exhaust
Double din touch screen TV/DVD/MP3 player

Stuff that would have to stay on:
Red Type-r'd callipers
Black mesh lower grill
Colour-coded Momo aluminium pedals
Richbrook Civic Type R alloy tax disc

Help on the valuation would be great and if anyone has any experience of the BM I'm thinking of, please let me know.

Cheers

I'm buying a late September 54 with Air-Con, Mats, 12000 miles and 6-month tax for £12800 but it requires a service. The car is completely standard. Depending on how quick a sale you require you should be looking at about £13200 with a view to dropping to £13000.

With the mods I have no idea how much it's worth.

You only have to look at how many cars are hanging around in the Cars for Sale section on the other forum to see how overpriced they are.

You may have seen my service thread.....but I was ofered 13k at a dealers for a 12 month old 54 plate.....However...a new CTR was onlt £16495.......

Private sale I would say about 13-14k.

Anybody interested in taking my CTR off my hands, complete with all mods, for £15,500?

Obviously the mods don't add value in line with the original cost, but there's £20,000 worth of car here just over 12 months old. I'd prefer to make the sale this way than to strip the parts off, it looks miles better than a standard CTR as it is (or so I've been told  )

James wack an addy up in the classifieds section if your gonna sell it

How much for the spooneys if you split?

I knew you'd be the first back to ask about my Spoons!!

I'll give you the first option if I decide to split it up mate.

Still kind of torn between sticking an ad straight up or just gauging interest...
