What brakes do you use & recommend?

Hi, I've got an EP3 lowered, running Federal RS-R's, and use it on track and road, I need new front pads & disks (currently standard) look for a well priced upgrade.......

I was thinking good quality standard disks with Ferodo 2500?

what do you use?

Whats your budget mate?

OEM discs with braided hoses, uprated pads and fluid works well.

Hi there

I personally can recommend Performance Friction Z-rated pads which we are run on our Subaru with 555.5bhp,not sure if they're available for EP3,but if not then Carbon Lorraine RC5+ or DS2500 are great pads, but still I would choose PF pads or RC5+,and I would stay away from EBC,like running EBC I would be running OE Pagid pads
And I would add better brake fluid,we run on track or fast road only Performance Friction RH665,which has been proven on numerous race or time attack cars
Brake lines, they will make difference,I would go with Goodridge or HELL,both we are run and both are OK
Discs, that's bit harder,as on EP3 you can't have something like 2 piece discs, which will only helps on the track or fast road based cars

I can only recommend Alyn@AS Performance
http://asptrading.co.uk/acatalog/GOODRIDGE_CAR_BRAKES.html or Goodspeed brakes http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/~godspeed/product.php?id_product=188 ,we are used both and both are very helpful and both are very knowledgeable and know their stuff

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

I'll never use DS2500's again if I can help it. There's many better alternates around now.
