  • yeh know what you mean about the wheels.... I must say I have changed my mind again, It will take a good set of wheels to trump the standard wheels If Im honest, and to part with £600 is scary lol. Im liking the second link (5 spoke wheels) look good. Hid's Is a good decision mate....
Was working on the weekend (gritting) but managed to clean the car and watch the rugby lol
Yes mate, quite right........ as long as your aware you have it on you should be o.k..... use common sense and it will be fine.

Im fancying the abp (eibach) 30mm springs.... just seen a pic of a cosmic with them fitted and it sits perfect!!! Jd26 IIRC

HID's you posh sod!!!! I must say I have been fancying them aswell but just bought some expensive bulbs so they'll do for the time being!!

Have been eyeing up some rota circuit 8's aswell in bronze...... but don't know what to do..... There is to much choice

    catch you again fella
See, i think this hydrolock thing is big bit of paranoia. I mean, yes, you can knacker the engine and it has happened but i've done a fair few miles with mine on down country roads, on the motorway etc. all when there's been puddles, slush, snow and torrential rain and it's been fine! Touch wood. :s

I think as long as your constantly aware you've got it on when driving in the rain you're fine. Just avoid puddles and carry on.

I've contemplated cutting it in half for the winter months but can't be bothered with all my other problems.

What other mods you got in mind then mate? Should be getting my HID's today. :)
Yes mate that would be brilliant. Tbh I did buy the AEM first for the car but was put off it by the guys on the forum (hydralock) because the filter sits low your at risk with water entering the filter which gets sucked into the engine then bang! so I purchased the ITG instead as I only heared good things about it.

I really like the ITG... looks good in the bay and the risk of hydralock has gone. I should think it has the same gains as the AEM.. as it is a CAI the bad points is the price £400 and Its not as loud as the AEM but all in all Im really happy with it.
Just fitted the Mongoose mate. Happy with my current ITG atm. My mate has the AEM with a Scorpion cat back and his AEM sounds amazing.
Hey mate, fitted the exhaust. Perfect note and as you said nice burble....... spot on. Posted pictures on the forum,
    Buk
