Hi - depends what you atr trying to achieve with the car. Are you going to use it for competition?
Personally I'm not sure about whether you should bother with a stroker kit - they are quite expensive. I'm just rebuilding mine but have built it up again at 2l - I could have had it any size/stroke/bore CR from 2 to 2.6 for the same money.
If you are not planning to go too far, I'd get a better exhaust and air intake first. You could go for a custom exhaust like mine which is very quiet but looks like a Spoon - really lets the exhaust gas out without noise. This lets Paul wind on more ignition safely assuming you can get the air in - you should see 330-340BHP. It will be hugely responsive and great to drive on the road.
