Hi

Haven't been on my thread for over a year. Just been busy, however I've still been working on the car.

Fitted a Tegiwa short shifter, has made the gear changes alot better and tight. Along with a Skunk2 weighted gear knob.

Replaced the rear brake pads and calipers with new ones along with EBC yellowstuff pads (came with the calipers). Re-sprayed them in red. Will be matching them up with the front ones soon and getting different pads both front and back.

Replaced the HKS exhaust with a DC sports system while giving the exhaust tip a good polish which came out lovely.

Bought a set of JDM floor mats both front and back. Along with a Alpine CDE-193BT stereo.

Thought I'd go for something different and fit the car with Function7 LCA's and Rear Lower Subframe Brace rather than the skunks, beaks etc. Also fitted tegiwa camber bolts and eibach camber arms before the FRSU.

It was time to replace the old tyres with new (Michelin PS4's) and have the alloys refurbed to factory silver (but thinking I should've gone for a darker shade).

Then it was time for a FRSU using the measurements on the forum from Chris. Got the alignment done from Aline in Dudley. The guys there are good. Car handles as expected. Its changed the whole driving experience especially with the new tyres!

Changed all 3 wipers with new Bosch ones and the battery as it just died on me, thankfully before leaving my house one day.

Looking lovely mate, I am not sure what colour to get my wheels refurbed in but now that I see how yours came in silver it has me thinking...

To be honest, I prefer the colour of your alloys, but hey, I may get them resprayed to the colour I want or pick up a set of cheap used alloys and then get them refurbed.

Latest update, thought I'd get the DC sports catback off and swapped to a Sportex 2.5" un-silenced b-pipe along with a Spoon N1 back box as i wanted something LOUDER! However where the join is, it doesn't seem to be secure. I found out it was blowing near the donut gasket joint so sealed the joint with some exhaust assembly sealant which has fixed the blowing issue. I believe I have the correct size donut gasket installed too. Does anyone know if this is how it should be assembled as to the pictures.

I also realised there is a rattling/buzzing noise coming from the exhaust between 3k-5k, where I have been told by "exhaust experts" the baffles are gone, in which they advised me they can make the same system out of stainless steel for a good price (trying to make i quick sale i know). They also had the cheek to say the backbox is not of good quality, the cheek of it!

Anyway, I'm aware these backboxes make a rattle but im 90% sure it hits the car (circled on pic) which is causing the rattle. As everytime I pushed the exhaust upwards the rattle would go away. Any advice on this, before I make the choice of keeping this system or not along with a review of the system?
