Has anybody used a headlight restoration kit before? And are they actually any good? Just brought a car that needs some headlight TLC.
 
The kits usually work well, have a look on detailers world though, plenty of guides on there. I usually use wet and dry paper and go through the grades then machine polish. Have you got a DA/Rotary polisher?
 
Yes, i've used the 3M kit on my EP3 years ago, and the Autoglym kit on my S2000 and dads S-Type just the other week. Both kits brought the headlights up looking like new.
