FK2 FK2: DRL Daytime Running Lights!

hi all!

story goes a few weeks back the FK2 got slammed into a wall at slow speeds in a parking lot accident haha;

the mounts on the Driver Side (RHD Vehicle) Headlamp got all busted so i replaced the entire lamp;

the sticker on the Original Lamp reads 33100-TV0_-E516-M1; the sticker on the New Lamp reads 33100-TV8_-J010-M1;

after installation, the DRL on the new lamp does not come on! i mean, the LED comes on but when its in DRL (aka Automatic) it does not come on;


what you guys think? wrong headlamp?

Guesses that the one you have bought is from a JDM car and they are slightly different?

Could always be a loom fault after the tap.

where to buy a brand new one from UK / EU ?

what is Loom Fault? what is the solution? put the OEM lamp back in and the DRL works OK on Auto! but with new Lamp, DRL won't come on @ Auto!

Loom fault, if you've damaged the wiring loom in the crash. Obviously if the old one works fine when you put it back in it isn't that.

Any of the traders on the forum like Hendy, Cox and Tegiwa that ship abroad will be able to get it for you. Check with them if it is the correct part number. :smt023
