EP3 Toda cat-back help

Messages

Hi folks,

Recently purchased a used Toda cat back for my EP3...unfortunately it didn't come with any usable gaskets

The problem i'm having is that the Toda system is 60.1mm. I cant seem to find any suppliers that have 60mm gaskets. Tegiwa, Htune etc see, to have just 2", 2.25" and 2.5" (60mm is 2.36")

Anybody know where i can find a 60mm gasket set?

Cheers

If you still have the original cat (or original diameter manifold) then the use of the 2.25" will be fine since it won't intrude into the gas flow.

Cheers man, that gasket isn't really the problem, its mainly the two bolt/pin gasket that connects the B-pipe to the mid silencer and the fire ring for the back box

You could either try a 57mm one from a reputable supplier (seem to be more common, the M2 style fire-ring, around £21 with spring bolts, 1.5mm intrusion at worst) or take a punt on something "cheap and cheerful" ;)) - https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcingmap-Graphite-Exhaust-Muffler-Flange/dp/B018RSPXU8

The two-bolt one would probably be fine as a 2.5" since that way it at least also wouldn't intrude on flow, but this kind of thing should be easier to find than the fire-ring at least, either that or buy a 2.25 and cut to fit... :|

Right, i have sorted the two flat gaskets...

But having major issues sorting a Donut/Conical gasket (have already bought 3 and none fit)

According to my vernier gauge the outer diameter of the pipe is 61mm... however i can only find 60 and 65mm gaskets, surely somebody with a 2nd hand 60mm system has had to be the donut?

Depending on how accurate your calipers are (and how much tolerance there is in manufacturing of the gaskets), consider the following:

https://h-tune.co.uk/m2-motorsport-exhaust-donut-gasket-fire-ring-60-5mm/ - possibly only just too small (60.5mm)
https://h-tune.co.uk/blox-racing-2-5inch-exhaust-donut/ (63.5mm, maybe a good fit?)
https://h-tune.co.uk/tegiwa-2-5-exhaust-donut-gasket-honda-civic-cr-x-eg-ek-integra-dc2/ (same again, assuming 1" == 25.4mm which seems to have been the standard since 1893)

I doubt you'll get much closer than that.
