Really enjoyed that video. All on stock internals as well! Top marks to Honda for that.
My boss has just spent a fortune forging his R26 Megane to push it into the 300 mark! Brilliant car though.

Catch can now fitted (at last). I made a template for a rear square number plate, I'm glad I did as I won't be doing it. It left the tailgate impressions sticking out on either side. This is with the standard 11" by 8" square plate.

Catch can look s tidy bud. Personally I wouldn't vent it back into your intake, but to atmosphere. Just my thing really as I wouldn't want any dirty or spent oil going back through the intake and into the head. I've always vented them to atmos just to make sure.

The oem set up is head to intake pipe (into mani), there should be clean air on the outlet from the catch can :)

Prepping the car to fit the torque damper. One of the engine mount bolts had cross threaded when I previously fitted a solid engine mount. Tried to use my die to redo the thread but it would not sit straight (no room Coz of the pulley etc. So for a fiver I bought a 19mm nut with a 12x1.25 cutting thread. Absolutely chuffed, was a doddle with this. Recommend, especially for tight spots.

Got out on new year's day to clean the car, and get some air :)
Waxed it and put some high gloss sealant on, not doing much else with it at the moment. Hopefully get it remapped at some point this year, and may put some springs on it too.

Popped out this evening and started to fit the Tegiwa ETD. Engine mount bracket fitted, should be done in 10 minutes tomorrow.

Makes a nice difference, quite surprised. No engine jerk on lift off when changing gear and a fast crisp gear change.

A small amount, which I think will settle down, and it is adjustable to suit. Not as much as the solid aftermarket driver's side mount I put in (and quickly removed). Everything rattled, including me :D

Decided to put my new stereo in today, very happy with it. Will be looking at speaker upgrade next.

I've switched back to the oem airbox but it's gutted and modded with an ITG drop in filter. Heat wrapped along with a caf from the wheel arch. Engine feels so much smoother, plus the exhaust sounds sweet, much prefer it to induction noise.

Nice! I see you got your fascia, was there any trouble with the mounting bracket/frame? Any modifications needed to be done?

The car is 3 days away from the big 100,000 miles. Bought it on 85k and it's my daily so I don't get too bothered about mileage. Lowering and mapping are the next two mods in mind, but I have an mot to get through in two weeks time.

I've decided to fix a few blemishes on the car and have ordered a windscreen chip repair kit and a clear coat scratch repair pen. I'll do a review when it stops raining :)
