EP3 Flashy's CG EP3 premier

I had the AEM CAI kit on my Cosmic, loved the sound of that style of intake, really brutal and aggressive when compared to the Gruppe M I had on my Milano.

It's hard to say tbh. I think things like intakes etc usually effect the pub dyno more than the ar5e dyno  Basically you don't really notice the difference, but you tell all your mates you can ;)

I've never noticed much difference, rev pick up can improve though. I'm probably going to k100 and remap, I think the injen is a good choice.

Yeah true, it does improve throttle response a little, but without a decent map, it's just a placebo effect I think. It's the "my car is louder it must be going faster" thing. Bit like chavs in 1L Corsas who add a spud cannon exhaust and think they can race Ferraris

So you're telling me my cherry bomb exhaust on my redtop fiesta is making it slow bruv? pfft

Oil change today, leaving the hamp filter in as only done 3k. Wanted to stick some nanodrive in again.
5 minutes warm up, stick the pipe in, a few handle pumps, kettle on

Injen cai now fitted, not difficult, a lot easier than fitting one to an Fn2. I'm pleased with my cutting skills to keep the arch liner nice and neat. Test drive in a bit :D

I've been trying to work out where I can put the catch can, think this is where I'll put it.

Look at all the room for activities with that intake now! Damn, as much as I love my Teg M, this is highly tempting.

You are in Swindon right? Perhaps we can arrange a mini meet somewhere in between and I ll be able to hear yours and make a decision then :)

Can't wait to put it on. My rusty oem exhaust is basically moulded to the cat flange, should a competent exhaust centre get it off without damaging the cat?

Blimey that centre section/CAT flange are bad. You might best getting someone to lop it off and weld a new flange to it. That one is pretty crusty.

Yeah, I'll make enquiries and attach a pic of it. The new exhaust cleans up like new :)
