EP3 Flashy's CG EP3 premier

How do you rate the TT coming from an EP3? I quite fancy one, but heard a few people saying they're too grown up/bland/dull to drive etc.

Hearing from someone who used to be in my position would be great, thanks.

Obviously it's quite different, you also have the choice of engines and gearbox set ups as well as 4wd or fwd. I opted for the 2.0tfsi valvelift (facelift) fwd which had improved power and torque. The wheels can spin up quite easily and the steering is very light. I plan to sort this, I have bought some 18" wheels to replace the 17" that came with the car. You can go 19" but I'm going down the middle. I have the sport, if you get an S Line or Black Edition it sits 10mm lower. I like it, it's comfy and easy to drive. It's got some nice mid range grunt for overtakes. It's a little on the quiet side but that can be remedied. I plan to get a stage 1 revo map which will increase bhp from 211 to around 265-270, torque up from 258 lbft to 310. To control the wheelspin I'm looking at an anti lift kit which reduces the movement in the front wishbone bushes, and increases camber. Also a front strut bar is on the cards. Possibly a dog bone mount insert to reduce engine movement. Tax is good at £200 and I'm averaging around 35mpg in it. There's plenty of modding options to keep me entertained :D
The 4wd requires a haldex service and increase the weight o er the fwd.

Be careful of Revo remaps mate. The tend to knacker piston ring lands. I’ve seen quite a few blocks with holes in that were running Revo tunes. APR is worth a look for Audi tuning

Tried some new 18" wheels out, the car is sitting up a bit from being lifted.
