EP3 Flashy's CG EP3 premier

Bush kit fitted, do the cotter pins have to go right on or as in the pics?

Split pin my friend, split pin.

...and yes. You put them on correctly.

Clayed the car this weekend.

Just won the bid on a brand new revotech short shifter, that combined with the Acuity bushes is going to make for a much better shift

That's an R clip, not a split pin. A split pin you poke through and bend both bits round...

Will be tinkering with the car this weekend, got the tower brace to go on, I have the bonnet pull repair to fit and I may take the rear wheels off and paint the hub, the rotas don't quite cover the face of the hubs so there is a rusty circle.

Keep us updated on that front brace, I am looking at one myself for the near future and the Tegiwa seems the most "OEM" looking. At least when comparing it back to my DC2 back in the day, but yours looks nice too and will match my planned White/Black paint scheme.

Finally managed to get the Ultra Racing front brace in, it was a tight fit and initially I thought it was too long but I was wrong. Swapped out the ITG and put the AEM V2 in as I fancied some noise. I am impressed with the V2 and the car seems more urgent in vtec, it makes a great sound too being about half way between stock and the Tegiwa sound.
The front strut brace has made a big improvement, like a go kart now

Strut looks good and engine bay looking very tidy. Just need to get yourself a Tegiwa intake now :)

I like how that strut doesn't get in the way of the plugs like the Tegiwa one does... hmmm might just be on order soon :D

Looks really smart that, where did you buy it from and how much if you don’t mind me asking?
Cheers

Ebay used, managed to get for £55. You can get them new for £95.

There's a seller in Ireland selling for £98 delivered on eBay

Just having another closer look at the pictures, is it just me or will that brace not be compatible with the Tegiwa M intake? As it sits a bit closer to the scuttle panel?

Got the revotech to go on, feels much better.
