All the 2019's I looked at on auto trader don't have a volume knob. I think it was added to the US 2019my because they were too retarded to change volume with steering wheel.
It's not the wear though, they stated one tyre was through to the cord and needed replaced ASAP. Told me it should not be driven on.
Strangely when the driver dropped the car off to my wife he said absolutely nothing.
I'm quite convinced it was just the dealership looking to get some revenue as the service was carried out on the 5 year plan.
FWIW...
I believe you have every right to retain any parts (incl tyres) removed from your car during a service.
If you let the garage know that you intend to do this you're less likely to encounter shenanigans like the tyre chord noted above.
