Track Day tyres

Morning! Looking at getting some track day tyres for my EP3. Seen NS-2R's or Federal Rs-R's but im stuck on the best size to get. I've got a seprate set of OEM alloys for them to go on but would it be best to get 215/40/17 or 215/45/17 ??

Cool, ill take a look at the ad08r's then ..... how are they in the wet? With the 215/45/17 do you get any catching on anything if your lowered?

Never pushed them hard in the wet, but I've had them on through the winter and they have been fine. Fantastic in the dry. 215 45 17 will sit 4.5mm higher and 5mm further out and in compared with oem

Can't go wrong with AD08r's I'm running 215/40/17 on oem wheels - no problems in the wet, look around for price - Guy on FB sells them really cheap - Ben Patey

Found some AD08r for a good price but they’re 215/45/17. I’m lowered about 30mm running -1.5 neg camber front & -1.2 neg on the rear. Am I going to have problems with them catching? Should I look for 215/40/17 instead?

Just ordered a set of AD08s 215/45/17s to be fitted for £445. Ok price and looking forward to getting them on the car!

I bought 4 Kumho V70a 225/40/18 for £248 delivered, going on my fn2

From the tests Iv seen they were better than ad08’s
