fn2 civic type r a little too quiet

so I have just picked up a 2009 type r in silver from a Honda dealership in London for my mrs.

on the drive home I was a little miffed that there wasn't much noise from the exhaust,i remember when I had my ep3 that in standard form they sound pretty meaty.

she doesn't want it mega loud.

de-resonated center section?

replacement backbox?

cheers

Milltek resonated. I had the non res and it sounds great but maybe a bit loud for what you want.

Try unsilenced centre section first.

I fitted a silenced Tegiwa cat back to my FN2 and it was WAAAYYYYYY too loud for my liking.
Only had it on a month, then took it back off and put the standard one back on.

Unsilenced centre section should give you some volume with too much drone.
Freeflow back boxes may just drone.

I had terrible drone from the Tegiwa.

We've got a Fujitsubo Legalis R in stock at the moment. Being Fujitsubo, it's super high quality and doesn't drone or sound intrusively loud. I'm sure I could do something on the price for a club member as well :)

I didn't even know that Fujtsubo had done a FN2 exhaust. They must be super rare!

A resonated Miltek sounds quite a bit like stock, maybe a little meatier. That might be your best bet.

resonated Cobra is a good shout also.

Had one and seem like decent build quality to it and not too loud.
