Default Wheel Clamps Advice for security

    Hi all,

Im looking to get a wheel clamp. Has anyone got an idea what is best to go for? I'm thinking of getting this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Busyall-Whe...eel+lock&psc=1

    I have 19inch alloys.

    Cheers!

Honest John seems to favour the Disklok http://www.disklokuk.co.uk/?gclid=EA...SAAEgK0LPD_BwE
It covers the steering wheel rather than road wheels, so is cleaner.

If the Cnuts want your car that badly they will turn up with a low loader!

Personally I think a wheel clamp would be too much hassle. Imagine you need to leave home in a hurry, say an emergency in the small hours of a morning while it's cold and wet?

You get a bit wet... if it's that much of an emergency then anything else could easily get in the way, train crossing, poor weather, whatever.

Thanks for all the replies. In my case this additional security was only required when leaving my car overnight when travelling to see friends. In the end I went for the disklok. It's fiddly but it's ok as it will be used once in a while. Cheers
