Yeah it’s the offset that’ll cause the issues. It’s not un-doable, it’s just going to need work. You can run a 9” wide wheel, but with a lower offset, around an ET40(ish) but you need to ensure no scrubbing on the shocks. I swear EP3’s are probably the hardest car I’ve ever known for wheel fitment. They can take a wide wheel, but the arch lips are deep so always need rolling or simply chopping back.
I’m from the school of make the car fit the wheels luckily, so getting wide wheels to work has never bothered me. :lol:
