Loxy's Type R #6

Shame. I had the rear seats and false boot floor out of mine = 43kgs Did make it a little twitchy on roundabouts :p

43kg? Jesus. I may strip the Civic after all.

You won't get the same effect with the FD2. The rear seats don't have a massive metal frame attached because they don't fold, and the boot floor is just a bit of lightweight carpet.

I forgot, he's got the Focarse for daily duties. As barren as a Turkish prison cell then, nothing less.

Excuse the very dirty wheels.

Black locking nuts and forum decals on!

Can't understand why they've gone to the effort of making the main body of the nut black, yet left the outer barrel in silver?

Yeah, not ideal. I'm thinking the key wouldn't fit over the additional thickness of the paint and they wanted to keep the OEM key size for clearance on the wheels.

The ball face that meets the wheel is black too, but you obviously can't see that.

£10 more expensive than the standard silver lockers too.

Did you get uprated pads and fluid / lines ?
Lines and fluid yes.
Pads still had a daft amount of life on them so no.

It's a commuter not a track tool, so they'll do until next service when I'll get pads and discs done at the same time.

The brakes are now better than stock but not where I'd want them to be honest.
