FK8 Parking Sensors stopped working

There is a button, not sure on the 8 but on the 2 it's to the lower right of the steering column about knee height

so easy to get used to these parking sensors, until you turn them off like when you get stuck in town centre traffic and fed up of pedestrians setting off the front sensor as they cross the road. Then almost disaster on your return home and you're used to relying on the first amber line and beep beep to let you know where your door step is that you nearly hit the bloody thing.

shame you can't turn off the audio beep beep but leave the visual display/yellow/red lines on the screen.

oh and Fan the Man, yes proper chav, spending money on Carbon you can't really see, and the weight saving is like what 0.01mg eh? love it, each to their own and all that. :smt023

the parking sensors need to be 1) reactive to the music so go louder when the smooth jazz is pumping, or 2) cut the music completely

Ha more like weight gaining as its just stick on dress up. It will match my steering wheel inserts which lift the wheel a bit...!

Has anyone experienced the parking sensors packing up completely. Mine started by showing the centre rear as permanently red and permanent alarm in reverse. Now it’s showing a fault on the dash with a picture of the car with all sensors showing red. This disappears when you turn them off but as soon as you turn them back on same message appears and the green light on the switch is flashing. Looks like strip to the dealers.
